The Ministry of Agrarian Policy may reappear in Ukraine
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal suggested that the work of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy may resume in Ukraine.
Agro-Center tells more about it.
Comment: “The first thing is separating the agrarian sector from the Ministry of Economy into a separate ministry. At the moment, it is just an idea. We are working on it together with the Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Ministers“, – said Denis Shmygal.
Details: Shmygal also stated that the Cabinet of Ministers may conduct a similar separation procedure for the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection. He believes that the previous merger of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources “did not yield the necessary results.”
The Prime Minister also noted that the Cabinet of Ministers plans to strengthen the industrial block in general. Several options are already being discussed, including the creation of a separate post of deputy prime minister or even the Ministry of Industrial Policy and Defense. At the moment, according to Shmygal, there is a search for “a formula, people, and the best format for implementation.” However, the decision has to be made as soon as possible, because there is an “urgent need”.
