“Let’s Go to the Village”: 2020 Has Become the Year of Ecotourism

The National Tourism Organization of Ukraine declared 2020 the year of rural tourism.

“Agro-Center” tells more about it.

Commentary: “Perhaps, the main goal of the sector is to train villagers and help them improve their service and human capital development skills, which will ensure sustainable and balanced rural tourism development,” stated the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine.

Details: Rural tourism is all about authenticity, traditions, culture and rural nature. It is horseback riding, fishing, wood carving and even getting acquainted with local customs and traditions.

Rural tourism in Ukraine reduces poverty and enriches our culture. It also provides employment opportunities for many villagers.

At the moment, rural tourism needs skilled workers who can sustain this sector in Ukraine.
