Kherson Machine-Building Plant, together with a Finnish company, has already released eight combines and will be able to provide other regions with agricultural machinery in the future, writes Agro-Center.
It was announced by Yuriy Gusev, President of the International NGO “Zemlyatstvo Khersonschiny”:
“The plant has already released 8 combines together with a Finnish company. And today, at the level of the Cabinet of ministers, the issue discussed is making a program “Combines of Ukraine” on the basis of Kherson Machine-Building Plant. It will provide our agricultural country with its own machinery,” said Gusev.
He stressed that it was very difficult to re-launch an enterprise that stood empty for several years and was even under threat of destruction. Thanks to the support of the regional state administration in the Kherson region, they produce not only harvesters but also tractors and port docks, which are exported to other countries of the world.
The first harvester Skif-280 Superior (a version of the Finnish combine Sampo Rosenlew SR 3085 Superior) manufactured by KhMBP was presented in July 2017.
