The Cabinet of Ministers presented a program to overcome the consequences of COVID-19 for the agro-industrial complex

On May 27th, the Government presented a program to stimulate the economy and overcome the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. One of the six sections is about agriculture.

Agro-Center tells more about it.

To support the agricultural sector, it is planned to:

  • provide new means of production;
  • ensure uninterrupted sales of products for small farmers;
  • provide access to the necessary knowledge and information;
  • reduce regulatory pressure and simplify business conditions.

At the moment, an important condition for the Cabinet of Ministers is to reduce the impact of restrictions on employee logistics, transportation of goods and their sale through traditional sales channels, while maintaining safe operating conditions caused by the quarantine.

According to the decision of the Government, the full version of the program will be published after its finalization in three days.
