The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on a visa-free regime for agricultural machinery

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill № 10183 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Implementation of Legislation of the European Union in the Field of Technical Regulation”, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “Agropolit”.

The bill was initiated by Andriy Parubiy, Gennadiy Krivosheya, Iryna Gerashchenko, Alexander Nechaev, Andriy Shipko, Victor Galasyuk, Mikhail Khmil, and others.

The initiators explain that the purpose of the bill is:

– a proper application of legislative acts that regulate the issues of development, adoption, and application of technical regulations and their conformity assessment procedures;- an adaptation of national legislation in the sector of ​​technical regulations and assessment of compliance with the legislation of the European Union;

– avoidance of the imposition of the additional or excessive regulatory burden on business entities.

Specialists note that the adopted bill is a major step towards a so-called “industrial visa-free regime”. It will facilitate the access of Ukrainian industrial products to the EU markets. In particular, there is a simplification when it comes to tractors.
