Ukraine ranked 63th in a food security rating
The Global Food Security Index is a global food security research that annually publishes a rating. In 2018, Ukraine has occupied the 63rd place, writes “Agro-Center”.
The Global Food Security Index is the most complete set of indicators of food security in different countries of the world. In general, the research has been conducted for 6 years now, since 2012. This year, Ukraine’s overall index increased by 1.8 points. The quality and safety of food products index increased by 4 points (46th place), accessibility index increased by 3.6 points (73rd place).
This year, Ukraine’s neighbors in the ranking are Vietnam (62nd place) and Morocco (64th place). The first place is occupied by Singapore and the last – by Burundi (113th place). The first positions are occupied mostly by EU countries.
