Agrarian Fund of Ukraine has lost 18.8 million hryvnias worth of grain (details)
StateWatch is a non-governmental organization that monitors the work of government. On its Facebook page, the organization’s team published data which says that due to inappropriate storage conditions, the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine lost 4.2 tons of grain, writes “Agro-Center”.
One of the directions of StateWatch’s work is monitoring the usage of public funds. They managed to establish that a loss of such volume of grain cost 18.8 million hryvnias.
The lack of grain was recorded at the state-owned Poltava and Ivano-Frankivsk bread making plants. The incident is being investigated by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
In addition, the fact of nonproductive expenses of PJSC “Agrarian Fund” on the storage and protection of arrested sugar in the amount of 12.5 million hryvnias was established.
