Analysts reported: How much money farmers lack for sowing?

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, farmers will need 138.3 billion UAH for sowing in 2019. This is 13% more than last year, writes “Agro-Center”.

Analysts estimated the budget deficit at UAH 11.5 billion. Most farmers will have to finance themselves.

Most farmers plan to get bank loans. The rest will borrow money in the form of “commercial” loans, and receive money from the state under state support programs.

Most of the money is used for purchasing fuel and lubricants – about 24.9% of all costs.

About 16.6% and 15.6%, respectively, will be used for land lease payments, as well as salaries. Farmers plan to spend 12.6% on mineral fertilizers and 7.4% on sowing material.
