Import of Polish meat was prohibited in Ukraine
In Ukraine, since February 15thin Ukraine, there is a temporary ban on the import of cattle from the Republic of Poland. The limitation was established because of the detection of animals infected with cow rabies in the country. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for Consumer Goods and Consumer Protection, writes “Agro-Center”.
“In Poland, according to the official report of the World Organization for Animal Health, chief state veterinary inspector of Ukraine introduced a ban from 15.02.2019 № 602- 113-18 / 2481, according to which the import of cattle, products and raw materials from the Republic of Poland to Ukraine is temporarily prohibited,”
said the State Committee for Consumer Goods and Consumer Protection.
The State Committee for Consumer Goods and Consumer Protection added that there were no cases of animals infected with cow rabies in Ukraine.
