Young Couple Gave Up City Life and Set Up an Organic Goat Farm in Lviv Region (Video)

Andrew and Galina have been keeping several dozen goats and developing organic farming in the Lviv region for two years, writes “Agro-Center”.

Andrew Malanchak, the owner of the family farm, said that a neighbor told him about the place where the farm is now. Here, goats graze on the farm and in the woods nearby. Andrew leases the land.

“I didn’t have goats at that time but knew that I wanted to create a goat farm. My cousin brought me my first goat. Then we bought five purebred goats and were also given goats by those who could not care for the animals. We now have over 40 goats,”

said the farmer.

The family wakes up at 6 am to feed the goats. Wife Galina and two children help Andrew.

The farmers make money by selling milk and cheese. The couple is also focused on ecotourism. They have arranged a relaxation area and swings on the farm.

“We want people to come here, to feel free and to be happy with us. We make sure it is interesting for both children and adults. We plan to wholesale milk to a cheese factory,”

shared Andrew.
