Farmers Produced Unique Beer from Christmas Trees
No need to throw away Christmas trees anymore! Dutch farmers will use them for making beer.
“Agro-Center” tells more about it.
Comment: “Spruce is not a typical beer ingredient, but it does give the drink of a certain botanical quality,” said the brewers.
Details: Beer from Christmas trees was produced by a Dutch company “Lowlander” as part of the “From Tree to Tipple” environmental campaign.
The campaign’s main goal was to turn Christmas trees, which people just throw away after the holidays, into something delicious.
Last year’s Christmas trees were collected by restaurants, bars in Amsterdam, the city’s botanical garden and volunteers. Those who tried the unique beer say it tastes like citrus and hops and smells like an evergreen forest.
