The French will give 300 thousand to village dwellers from Ternopil region “for berries”

Next year, the French company AgroGeneration intends to purchase equipment for frozen berries to support the cooperative in the Ternopil region, writes “Agro-Center”.

It is planned to allocate about 100 thousand hryvnias from the state budget for the development of the cooperative for the production of raspberries. At present, regional authorities prepare documents for registration. Agricultural holding plans to invest 300 thousand hryvnias.

“We will buy refrigeration equipment ourselves. We plan to participate in the development of the co-operative as co-founders”,

– said the head of the Western cluster of AgroGeneration Viktor Bykov.

Let’s recall, that this year, due to high demand from the EU countries, Ukraine has set a new record for the export of frozen raspberries. In total, during the period from January to September 2017, Ukraine exported 8,1 thousand tons of frozen raspberries, which is 1,7 times more than last year.
