American woman found a tooth of a giant prehistoric shark

In the US, a woman found a megalodon’s tooth on the side of the road.

Details: Kayla Clatt found the tooth of a prehistoric megalodon shark while walking her dog.

The find lay on a dirt road in the Eglin Reservation in northwest Florida.

She noticed something sticking out of the ground on an evening walk on May 11th. In the morning, Kayla returned to that place with a friend and dug out the tooth.

Researchers at the University of Florida suspect that the tooth was originally in a quarry from which soil was brought to build the road.
