COVID-19 can be treated with cannabis
Canadian scientists claim to have made a huge breakthrough in the search for methods of prevention and treatment of the coronavirus.
Agro-Center tells more about it.
Comment: “At first we were stunned, and then we were really happy“, – said one the researchers Olga Kovalchuk.
Details: Scientists from the University of Lethbridge (Canada) recently reported that they have discovered strong varieties of cannabis that can be used to prevent and treat COVID-19.
They suggest that special properties of these varieties affect the ACE2 receptors to which the virus binds and uses as a gateway to the human body.
The scientists claim that cannabis can reduce the number of points of entry of the virus into the body by 70%.
Meanwhile additional research is needed, at this stage, cannabis can already be used to develop preventive treatments “in the form of a mouthwash or a throat rinse.”
