Illegal Pears: The Russians Transported 20 Tons of Fruit Without Any Documents

A Volvo truck carrying more than 20 tons of pears was stopped by the Customs on the M1 Brest-Moscow highway. The car was driven by a resident of Russia, writes “Agro-Center”.

According to the documents, thermal insulation plates made of mineral wool were transported in the cargo compartment. There were some in a semi-trailer, but pears from Serbia were hidden under them.

There was also a problem with the documents. The Belarusian company that was listed as the shipper, had nothing to do with the plates or pears.
