Sixteen years ago, a farmer Mikhail Kubara decided to turn his hobby into a business. He destroyed stereotypes and proved that exotic peaches can grow in the Lviv region, writes “Agro-Center”.
Mikhail planted his first garden in 2003. Nowadays, the garden occupies 20 hectares, 8 of which are peach trees. Peaches are a hallmark of the garden. Not long ago this fruit was considered exotic in western Ukraine.
36 peach varieties grow in the garden, of which 10 can be grown in the Lviv region. On average, the farmer receives between 20 and 30 tons of peaches per hectare during a season.
The company also sells seedlings and other products for gardening. After all, good seedlings are essential for a fruitful garden.
