A first training center for farmers will start its work in Lviv region
The first training center for farmers in Ukraine will be opened in the Lviv region. The training will take place with the participation of the Employment Center and the International Finance Corporation. This was reported by Zenoviy Bermes, the head of the Association of Employers of the Lviv region, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “Galinfo”.
“In the near future, we will present a project that envisages the creation of the first Ukrainian training center for farmers. We, the Association of Employers of Lviv, became friends with the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank’s structure. The Employment Center has money for free training of the unemployed. I would especially like to train ATO participants. People will study for four months and get a loan at the end,”
said Zenoviy Bermes.
They won’t be given money but seeds and by all necessary materials for organizing and maintaining a farm.
“We will encourage them to find sales outlets for their products: both for export and for domestic enterprises. Nobody in Ukraine did something like this before,”
added the head of the Association of Employers of the Lviv region.
There are currently 283,000 farms and 812 farmers in the Lviv region. The numbers don’t increase, as it was noted at the press conference.
