Honey will be processed on a new specialized plant in Lviv region

A new plant for processing honey and bee products will be opened in the village of Soposhin, Zhovkva district, which is in the Lviv region. The enterprise is an exporter of Ukrainian honey. It promotes the development of beekeeping in the region, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “UBR”.

Production facilities of the company include a shop for raw materials, a shop for processing honey and homogenization, a warehouse for finished products, a mechanical workshop, a boiler room with economic and environmental boilers.

The enterprise produces homogenized acacia, lime, buckwheat, sunflower, herb, and turnip honey. Honey is exported to Poland, Austria, Italy, Canada. The enterprise can regularly supply 500-1000 tons of polyfloral (collected from different types of plants) or monofloral honey (collected from one species of plants) per year.

The enterprise plans to create organic and industrial apiaries, produce packed honey, establisha production of innovative therapeutic and prophylactic products made from bee products and produce environmentally safe products for bees.

Investments into a new enterprise are estimated at UAH 20 million. The plant will create 50 new workplaces.
