Coca-Cola Presented the First 300 Bottles Made from Recycled Marine Plastic

The Coca-Cola Company presented prototypes of bottles made from recycled marine plastic, writes “Agro-Center”.

The collaboration of Ioniqa Technologies, Indorama Ventures, Mares Circulares (Circular Seas) and The Coca-Cola Company has yielded great results. 300 bottles were produced using 25% of recycled plastic that was collected on beaches and in the Mediterranean Sea. Company representatives explain that prototypes are made from marine plastic that has been successfully recycled.

Modern recycling technologies use innovative processes that separate the components of plastic, and also remove all kinds of impurities in recycled materials. As a result, the final material is not inferior to the primary one.
