Students Will Be Taught to Grow Marijuana

An unusual course was recently introduced at the University of Guelph. The Knopka.ca portal reports that the educational program will start next week, writes “Agro-Center”.

The curriculum foresees that this year students will become familiar with the basics of marijuana production, and during the next year, they will learn all about the legal nuances.

60 people have already signed up for the course. Tuition is $545.

The online program is a part of a new specialization. Students will be introduced to such topics as irrigation and lighting systems for plants, pest and disease control, proper collection and packaging. There will also be discussions about botany, medical use of cannabis and the marijuana industry in Canada.
