The EU Will Import Ukrainian Chicken
The European Commission has published a decision on lifting the ban on chicken imports from Ukraine.
“Agro-Center” tells more about it.
Commentary: “The European Commission not only lifted the ban but also applied to Ukraine the zoning regime in the context of flu outbreaks for the first time,” said Mykola Tochitsky, a representative of Ukraine in the EU.
Details: The European Commission’s decision to lift the ban on EU imports and transit of Ukrainian chicken was published in the official media.
The ban was implemented because of the brid flu in Ukraine.
It should be noted that it is planned to introduce an early warning mechanism in the agrarian sector in Ukraine, which will allow proper protection against animal and plant diseases as well as prevention of their possible negative impact on trade relations between Ukraine and the EU.
