Details: Scientists found out that the Earth has become greener since the 1980s, which means that new vegetation continues to emerge on the planet and slow down global warming.

If it were not for the trees that humans have planted over the last 40 years, the temperature on the planet would have been higher by 0.2-0.25°C.

Plants slow down global warming by consuming carbon emissions, which keeps climate change more moderate. However, to make life on Earth possible in the future it is still necessary to reduce carbon emissions.
