Vasyl Vashchuk has stocked on mushrooms. In the old garden, next to his father’s house in the village of Borbin Rozhysche district, the man came across a real plantation of common puffballs, writes Agro-Center.

He harvested puffballs from the “plantation” twice. First, in August, he collected 9 kilograms of mushrooms. In the autumn, more mushrooms grew, so the second “harvest” was extra productive. The largest mushroom weighed more than four kilograms; the average ones weighed 500-700 grams.

Vasyl Vashchuk says that puffballs are delicious. They can be consumed fresh, and they can be frozen for the winter.
