A Farmer from the USA Opened a Chain of Meat Vending Machines

Joshua Applestone, a farmer from the US, installed 24-hour vending machines in small towns in the state of New York, where people can buy packaged fresh meat, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to Bloomberg.

Vending machines with lamb, pork, beef, minced meat, and sausages are installed in Stone Ridge and Chord. To buy meat, a customer needs to select a product and use their credit card to pay for the purchase.

Joshua claims that the products stay fresh for six days thanks to a rotary cooling system installed in the vending machines. The farmer notes that products have to be loaded into vending machines two or three times a day because of the high demand. By 2019, the entrepreneur plans to open the first meat vending machine in Manhattan, New York.
