A new Claas Jaguar combine automatically produces pellets on the field (video)

The German company CSP Laser modified Claas Jaguar and created the world’s first self-propelled combine Metitron 560, which can harvest straw pellets right on the field, writes Agro-Center.

According to the producers, it is “a combination of a vehicle and a granule factory”. The advantages of the combine are its speed and ease in the production of straw pellets of various crops. Metitron 560 produces 6-12 mm (standard size – 8 mm) pellets. The combine is equipped with an engine of 615 horsepower. Press for granulation is driven by a motor. Metitron 560 can produce up to 6 tons of pellets in an hour.
