New Agricultural Drone Will Be Presented in Ukraine

A new flagship model of the Phantom 4 Multispectral drone will be presented at the It-Corner 2019 business forum. The development is owned by DJI. The drone will be used for measuring work and for performing tasks in precision agriculture, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to drone.ua.

The Phantom 4 Multispectral drone will only be used in agriculture. The new model is equipped with a multispectral camera for monitoring vegetation indexes and creating biomass distribution maps across the field. GPS-receiver with RTK technology allows obtain image accuracy up to one centimeter and also provides the opportunity to perform precision measuring work with the creation of field terrain maps.

“During one go, a team of drone operators will scan the field, identify problem areas for introducing plant protection products and simultaneously create routes for drone sprayers that fly immediately after the departure of the first drone,”

was stated in the message.

This approach reduces the speed of agricultural operations and logistics costs.
