What Does the Ukrainian Agro-Industrial Complex Offer? (Infographic)

The products of the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex have always been in demand abroad. According to the Institute of Agrarian Economy, export volumes have increased significantly in 2019, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “Channel 24”.

In January-June of 2019, the export of agro-industrial increased by almost 20% compared to last year. The value of exported products is estimated at 10.3 billion dollars.

Most of the Ukrainian products are bought by countries in Asia, Africa, the European Union, and the CIS countries. In particular, export to the CIS countries decreased, while other counties on the list started to import more products made in Ukraine.

The top three importers of Ukrainian products are China (last year ranked third during the first six months), Egypt, and India.

Ukraine sells most grain, oil, and oilseeds, as well as meat products. In total, these products provided more than 84% of the total export.

Among the EU countries, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, and France import most Ukrainian products. The EU countries import grain (1570 million dollars), oilseeds, sunflower oil (684 million dollars) and meat (104 million dollars).
