A Beekeeper from Ukraine Created a New Species of Bees That Do Not Sting (Video)

Mykola Ginailo has been involved in beekeeping for over 20 years. The man has two apiaries: one in the forest and one near his house. Mykola is convinced that the most important thing in beekeeping is loving the bees, writes “Agro-Center”.

Mykola started working with bees in 1993. Nowadays, in addition to his two apiaries, he looks after bees in Shatsk Park.

“I’ve been in the woods since childhood, I grew up here.”

The man checks the hives according to a schedule. He uses a bee smoker to calm the bees so they won’t sting.

Mykola’s apiaries include different species of bees. The farmer created some of the species himself. One of the species – “Black German” – is unique because the bees do not sting.

The man keeps the bees not only for the honey they collect but also for propolis. He considers it an effective antibacterial remedy.
