A Ukrainian Student Makes Paper from Fallen Leaves

Production of eco-friendly paper from fallen leaves can start in Ukraine in the future. Technology belongs to Valentyn Frechka, a Ukrainian student of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “Lviv portal”.

The technology has already been tested on specialized equipment and is ready to be used for large-scale production.

“We have confirmed the effectiveness of using leaves as a substitute for wood. We produced our paper on specialized equipment, which showed that it is of good quality,”

wrote the researcher.

Valentyn added that some things still need to be improved, but in general it will soon be possible to talk about the world’s first company that processes fallen leaves for making paper products.
