A rooster is being tried for loud crowing in France

The Roschfort Court received the case against a rooster that disturbs people in the morning with his loud crowing, writes “Agro-Center”.

court, cockThe plaintiffs demand compensation of one thousand euros. They plan to transfer the money to families of sailors who died at sea.

Elderly locals started to complain about the rooster back in the spring of 2017. Then, two petitions in support of the rooster’s owner were created. They were supported by almost 155 thousand people. Much later, when the case got to the court on July 4th, no plaintiffs nor defendants appeared.
