Lambs instead of students: 15 animals were accepted to a school in France to avoid a reduction of classes

Parents of students registered lambs to attend classes as a form of protest against a reduction of classes. One local farmer brought 15 lambs to the school. The animals were officially registered to attend the educational institution, writes “Agro-Center”.

It happened in Cre-en-Beldon. Local authorities wanted to close the class because of a small decrease in the total number of students. However, in the opinion of parents, an increase in the number of children in other classes will negatively affect the quality of education.

To protest, a local farmer brought 15 of his lambs to school, which were officially registered to attend the educational institution. The protesters were supported by Mayor Jean-Louis Mare, who already issued a decree on the allocation of a part of the schoolyard for the protest.
