The ASF Training Will Take Place in the USA

Extensive ASF training will take place in the 14 states of the USA, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, writes “Agro-Center”.

The authorities wish to understand how the pig breeding industry will respond to the threat. In the course of training, they will be able to identify the industry’s weaknesses in terms of its ability to stay protected from the ASF virus.

Let’s recall that due to endemic outbreaks of African swine fever, pork production in China has decreased by 25%. If the same happens in the US, it will lead to great financial losses not only for the pig breeding industry but for the entire production chain, including consumers.
