70% of the land fund of Ukraine is agricultural land. It is almost 42 million hectares. Today, the most expensive agricultural land is in the Khmelnytsky and Poltava regions, writes “Agro-Center”.
In 2018, there are 323 agricultural land plots in the Poltava region. The total area of the land is 7 thousand 100 hectares.
“Agricultural land in the Poltava region is of the most expensive. It is evidenced by the average percentage of interest, 42%, which is five times more than a starting one. 80% of lands in the region have very valuable soils,”
said Vadim Chuvpilo, Head of the General Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre in the Poltava region.
Since the beginning of 2018, the regional authorities sold lease rights to 111 land plots for commercial agricultural production and 7 plots for farming.
