The Happiest Children Study in Rural Schools (Research)

Results of the international education survey PISA-2018 showed that children who live and study in villages are happier than children in cities, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “UNIAN”.

“In Ukraine, there is no difference in general life satisfaction among teens who attend different educational institutions: pupils/students studying at lyceums, gymnasiums or specialized schools are as satisfied/dissatisfied with life as those attending secondary schools. At the same time, the location of the educational institution has a significant impact on life satisfaction of Ukrainian teenagers: students that live in rural areas have the highest levels of life satisfaction, and children from cities enjoy their lives less,”

said the report.

It is noted that boys and girls are approximately equally satisfied with life. These results are very different from those in other countries.
