Circus victims: a place form animals saved from cruel treatment in a Ukrainian village (video)

In the village of Berezivka, located in the Zhytomyr region, there is a rehabilitation center for bears. Center employees save animals from cruel treatment in circuses and provide decent living conditions for them, writes “Agro-Center”.

There are four bears in the shelter, two of them were taken a month ago from the circus in Nizhyn. The animals have adapted and feel much better. This winter will be the first when they can fall asleep.

As a result of training in the circus, the bears receive mental injuries, which cannot be healed. They have so-called stereotypes and mental disorders. We went to the center and talked to Volodymyr, who works there.
