Exotic fruits in Ukraine: a farmer created the tropics in new greenhouses near Kiev (video)

Volodymyr Patiyev, the farmer from the Kyiv region, has been growing exotic fruits in his greenhouses for decades. Famous and rich Ukrainians buy plants from him, writes Agro-Center.

The farmer is an innovator. He has come up with a new type of energy-saving greenhouse:

“When the temperature outside is 30 degrees below zero, it’s 10 degrees above zero in a greenhouse without heating,” – says Volodymyr.

Famous people buy his exotic plants. The farmer makes a lot of money on the greenhouses.  Each square meter yields a profit of 400 dollars a year. The man owns a total of more than 700 square meters. Watch the episode of ‘La Selo’ for more:
