It is reported that the highest average consumer price for buckwheat in April 2020 was recorded in Donetsk (40.30 UAH/kg), Cherkasy (39.21 UAH/kg), and Kyiv (39.16 UAH/kg) regions. The cheapest buckwheat was sold in Dnipropetrovsk (32.92 UAH/kg) and Ternopil (32.96 UAH/kg) regions, and in Kyiv (33.35 UAH/kg).
Among other food products, the largest increase in prices in April was recorded for potatoes (+14.43%), white cabbage (+12.89%), and apples (+11.27%). Prices for chicken fillets (-14.21%), poultry (chicken carcasses) (-13.51%), lard (-1.46%) and millet (-1.22%) decreased compared to March.
