Elite Cow Sold for a Record Amount
A black Angus cow was sold at a record price of 106 thousand dollars at an auction in Canada, writes “Agro-Center”.
The animal was bought by U2 Ranch, a cattle-breeding company from Canada. The auction organizer explained that this was the most expensive purchase in the 52-year history of the company. Previously, a cow sold for 38 thousand dollars was considered the most expensive.
The lucky new owner of the elite animal had many competitors. Cattle breeders from Canada, Mexico, and the United States fought for the cow. The buyer said that there are few such animals in the world. The cow caused a huge stir at the auction.
Darren Anger, the owner of an animal farm, plans to significantly expand his herd of elite cows thanks to the excellent genetics of his new purchase.
