Opportunities: Ukrainian farmers will be provided with grants for calves

The USAID’s “Support for Agrarian and Rural Development” project will provide grants to commercial enterprises or agricultural service cooperatives for the creation and setting up of effective centers for collecting calves (7-20 days old) and taking care of them till the animals are old enough for the industry, writes Agro-Center.

Grants will be provided to enterprises that demonstrate an ability to introduce new technologies for taking care of calves, provide with balanced feeding and introduce international standards for product safety in project implementation. They will set an example of industrial growing of calves for replication and expansion in the future.

Application for a grant is open until May 25th, 2018.
