Hungarian Chickens to Be Bred in the Rivne Region

A new investment project will be implemented in the Rivne region. It is the creation of a breeding farm for the production of 35,000 hens of ROSS 308 meat variety per year. The first chickens will arrive from Hungary soon, writes “Agro-Center”.

The owners have already prepared three special barns in accordance with all European standards. Energy-saving technologies will be used in the barns. Chickens will also be grown according to European technologies that include timely vaccination, feeding with organic fodder, and ongoing veterinary supervision.

Over 20 million hryvnias were invested in the project. The investments also include specialized equipment made by a German company “Big Dutchman”. The farm met all biosafety requirements and installed barriers for road transport. The first chickens will arrive on September 27-28 this year.
