There is a boiler house with a capacity of 10 MW at the Dniprovsky Birdhouse, located in the village of Pershotravneve of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The boiler-house uses a straw and allows the company to replace up to 3.5 million cubic meters of gas annually, reports Agro-Center.
Sergey Savchuk, the Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and the Head of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Vysochyna Region of the Czech Republic, the owner of the company “TTS Group” Richard Gorky visited the poultry farm. It is part of a group of leading European manufacturers of boiler equipment and biomass cogeneration equipment. In particular, two high-efficiency boilers, produced by the “TTS Group”, operate at the boiler-house in “Dneprovskiy”. Richard Gorky said that the company sees significant potential for the production of biomass energy in the regions of Ukraine and plans to expand its activities.
Last fall, a protocol on cooperation in the field of gas replacement with the Korostensky City Council (Zhytomyr region) was signed.
The State Agency for Energy Efficiency is currently working on new changes to bioenergy legislation. Innovations will allow a creation of a transparent biofuel market and contribute to lowering of prices for biofuel, as well as solving a problem of providing it.
