Pöttinger Released New Pro Mowers

Pöttinger presented a new series of Pro mowers for the 2020 season, writes “Agro-Center” with a reference to “Traktorist.ua”.

The new Pro Series combines Novacat 261, 301 and 351 Alpha Motion Pro disc mowers, as well as Eurocat 311 Alpha Motion Pro and Alpha Motion Plus Pro drum mowers.

The mowers can operate without roller moulder, as well as with ED or RCB roller swather. For Plus version drum mowers –ED swather.

The new Pro models have three points of attachment to the tractor. Folding front protection access to the mower beam facilitates the cleaning and replacement of the blades. The protective housing can be easily opened, allowing for easy adjustment of the discharge springs. The central lubrication point is located on the bracket. The optimized gearbox does not require a chain.

“Due to the harmonious running of the mower on each soil contour, it has less load and thus reduces wear. Service life is extended, as well as the stability of the Tri Drive mower beam for better power transmission. The developers at Pöttinger also came up with a new “sleek”and modern design,”

said the message.

The new Pro version uses the proven kinematics of the active frame. With the help of the Alpha Motion bracket, the entire support frame completely copies the surface of the field. Each movement of the mower is guided by the support frame and receives a “floating slice”.
