Antibiotics and technical fats: what manufacturers add to Ukrainian products

It was announced by the general director of the Ukrainian Association of Suppliers of Trade Networks Alexei Doroshenko. High competition “forces” domestic producers to manufacture products with dangerous additives, and we talk about all products without exception, said the expert.

“For example, in meat it can be antibiotics. Speaking of dairy products, it has become a common thing to add technical fat,” explained the analyst.

Alexei Doroshenko added that it is impossible to understand that it is technical fat because, in order to conduct a research of this additive, it is necessary to spend tens of thousands of hryvnias. Not every consumer can afford it.

The analyst is confident when fines for unscrupulous producers are imposed, food products in our country will become safer.
