Escherichia coli bacterium was found in the dairy products of three manufacturers
A consumer examination of milk products was conducted in Kharkov. As a result, it was discovered that only three out of the nine samples were manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the state standard DSTU, writes Agro-Center.
Samples of kefir made in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkassy, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil and Lviv regions were selected for the examination.
The results showed that only three out of nine samples meet the requirements of normative documentation by all parameters: physical and chemical, non-dairy fat content, microbiological, and labeling quality. These are the products of “Molokiya” (2.5% fat), “Galichina” (2.5% fat) and “Voloshkovo Pole” (2.5% fat).
66.7% of product samples and six out of nine samples did not meet the requirements.
The worst results were shown by “Daily” (2.5% fat), “kar.Ua” (1.0% fat), “Romol” (2.5% fat). Escherichia coli bacterium was found in their products.
“Consumption of these products can cause various gastrointestinal tract disorders,”
examinators warn.
The examination was carried out by the specialists of the State Enterprise “Kharkivstandardmetrology”.
